I trained in Swedish Massage in 2014.
After many years as a bridal seamstress, regular massage was a necessity as I spent so much time hunched over a sewing machine. I was getting tired of paying out a lot of money for expensive massages that never quite hit the spots I needed them to. So I decided I would train myself so that I could begin to deliver the kind of massage I was craving!
I would describe my massage style as a fusion of deep tissue techniques to firstly identify any areas in the body where tension is being held onto, teamed with specific movements to help gently stretch out and ease and release any tight muscles. These two key techniques combined should work in harmony to simultaneously help break down any knots, release tension, and help ease persistent aches and pains, thus enabling the body to function more efficiently as a whole.
Every treatment is tailored to each individuals specific needs and concerns, to hopefully deliver a massage that is not only effective in relieving pain, but that also leaves each person feeling deeply relaxed, re-stored and re-balanced.
