Low Level Laser Therapy

Low Level Laser Therapy

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) reduces pain and inflammation whilst promoting repair. We use it to treat conditions such as osteoarthritis, sprains and strains, sports injuries, shingles, neuralgias, wounds and leg ulcers, back and neck pain.

This is not a heat treatment, the effects of LLLT are photochemical (like photosynthesis in plants).

It works by stimulating the power house inside your cells (mitochondria) to produce more cellular energy (ATP) that your body needs to repair.

LLLT has been tested in over 200 clinical trials (RCTs) and published in the worlds top medical journals including a review by The Lancet, a clinical study in the journal PAIN and is acknowledged by the World Health Organisation Bone and Joint Task Force (published in the journal Spine).

Well known beneficiaries of LLLT include David Beckham, Michael Owen, Nick Faldo and Monica Seles.
