I’ve been a patient at The Osteopathic Practice for over 30 years. Jane O’Connor (and her colleagues in more recent years) has kept me standing and moving despite a recurring ‘lower back problem’ caused by an awkward fall on stone steps nearly 50 years ago.
Jane is a true professional. She not only treats the problem, but takes a holistic approach to it, and the potential ‘ripple-effect’ it can cause as the rest of the body compensates for the faulty bit.
I’ve also developed osteoarthritis in recent years and had to have a hip replacement, which she referred me for. Jane also loaned me a pair of crutches in advance of the operation, so I could practice using them on stairs, which I was most apprehensive about – holistic and forward planning!
The Osteopathic Practice is a very calming and welcoming environment. It’s both friendly and professional at the same time.
