The NovoTHOR has given me certain benefits. I can list these as follows: 1. It is a recognised treatment for the "dying" of the nerves in my legs and I believe it's helping. 2. I have problems with my neck, head and shoulders. The machine has certainly helped, as I'm no longer in the agony which used to occur. 3. I think it seems to be also helping the osteoarthritis in my hands and fingers. 4. When leaving the machine, there seems to be a general feeling of "wellbeing".
Having recently had a knee operation and wanting to throw everything at my recovery, I was extremely interested when I heard about Novothor therapy. I booked 6 sessions to start with and following my very first session, I immediately felt some improvement in my knee. It certainly eased the pain and improved my walking. After 6 sessions, I was hooked and booked another 6. I intend to continue as I aim to recover fully over the next 6 months. I guess with anything new you can be sceptical, however, I can honestly say, Novothor is continuing to help me recover. I'm also doing physio but really notice a difference after each session. I recommend anyone to give it a go!
I was made aware of the NovoTHOR therapy by my wife who set me up with a consultation with Jane, who explained the treatment to me very clearly. I suffer from inflammatory arthritis and although it has not completed eradicated the symptoms of my condition, the therapy has certainly made a noticeable difference for the better. I currently have a weekly treatment which I find works well for my condition.
My experience with NovoTHOR overall was positive. The issue with my lower back when standing has eased considerably following the second course of treatment I had. I found the whole experience very relaxing and enjoyed the 'time out' from our busy lives. The shaking in my fingers has subsided and I don't know if that is due to NovoTHOR or the course of magnesium tablets I have started to take, but this information I got from a leaflet in your treatment room, so thank you. I would say NovoTHOR certainly met my expectations and would definitely recommend everyone to try it out.
"A startling impact. I've been unable to play tennis or run following a serious knee injury twelve months ago. Three weeks after my first session of six, I've built my running up to 2 miles without any pain, and I'm back on a tennis court. Any post-exercise discomfort in the knee dissipates within an hour or two, rather than the days or weeks that I previously experienced".
Jane was recommended to me by a friend who also received treatment at her practice. A warm welcoming environment in the waiting room prepares you for an informal and relaxing treatment. I have recommended Jane to other friends with similar issues. She is a very well-known Osteopath in the town, and indeed the area, with many years’ experience.
Since starting to receive treatment, originally for the effects of a ‘slipped disc’, I have always been met with courtesy and very friendly professionalism. Over the years I have received treatment from each of the Osteopathic professionals at this practice and I can only say I would heartily recommend the treatment I have received.
Jane is very caring. I have Laser and Acupuncture for my back which is amazing treatment. The practice always looks for the best treatments for you. The staff are very polite and friendly. There is always a hot drink to warm you up. The advice is always excellent given by Jane.
I have been using The Osteopathic Practice for over 8 years now and it's a service I can totally rely on. I have had hamstring and shoulder problems as well as issues during pregnancy and Jane has always identified the cause quickly and given effective and successful treatment, often using different techniques. She never asks you to return for a follow up unless it is really necessary.
30 years of sports injuries have been so effectively treated that I make an appointment fully confident that Jane will 'sort it out'. I have sent at least 8 people to her. She has successfully treated all but one: who obeyed her instructions to go to a doctor and was operated on for a disc problem.
I have tried everything else over the years for back and neck pain - nothing was as effective as Osteo by Jane. It is always holistic. Jane always looks at the "whole picture" and gives appropriate advice and treatment. At least I am pain free in my back and can get on with living.
I have known Jane for well over 25 years. Over that period she has repaired the abuse that I put into my body on more occasions than I care to remember. The practice provides flexible, friendly, specialist services that are invaluable to sportsmen like myself. I cannot recommend Jane and her skillsets highly enough.
I love playing my sport and would not be fit to continue to play without expert osteopathic treatment from the Practice since 1998. Jane and Neil have managed my back condition not only through treatment but lots of advice on lifestyle do’s and don’ts to prolong my mobility, always with the message that one day I will need surgery. Sure enough the day came in 2013 when Jane said “I think it would be a good idea for you to see a surgeon” and with her encouragement and support I had the spinal surgery, was out of sport for a year, and happily to say I am back playing better than ever. I am so grateful to Jane and Neil for all their treatments, care and kindnesses in getting me to where I am today.
The treatment I have received and am still receiving from Jane O'Connor is excellent. Jane's expertise and kindness and always there to greet me. Manager Bruce and Receptionist Wendy makes me feel very welcome. You can guarantee a smile and a cheerful word. Jane O'Connor & Associates are, in my view, the best Osteopathic Practice around.
I visited Jane after suffering with a very painful shoulder which was making me feel weak and frail, as well as knocking my self-confidence. I was really feeling my age.
I visited Jane after suffering with a very painful shoulder which was making me feel weak and frail, as well as knocking my self-confidence. I was really feeling my age. Jane told me I was suffering from muscle depletion and suggested I find a personal trainer to help rebuild my muscles. This really fed my anxieties as I have never been or enjoyed physical exercise. I had an initial consultation with Dave Grant at the Village Hotel Coventry who went through everything and alleviated my fears.
I now go to the gym and train 1 hour per week. Dave is at my side the whole time explaining how to do the exercises and use the machines (cross trainer, bike, treadmill, weights, etc.) Over the weeks I have grown in confidence, feel younger and my muscles are firming up.
Following my experiences I would urge any lady to take up exercising (I am 72) and rebuild their bodies. I can only thank Jane and Dave for their expertise and patience in giving me a more positive future.
